 1958  Porsche Tractor ....  this subject is one of my favorites....first off,  because I did not realize the Porsche made a tractor...few in the states do.   And because its unique and try and paint it in a contemporary  composition.  Enjoy !!!

Tide Pool 8

Interesting macro shot of a very small tide bubble...then to enlarge it to see all the detail that normally is overlooked.   Then with layering of color and reflections to get the 3D pop.  Love the challenge !!!!

TIDE POOL 7

After several weeks of adding color layers and pushing back some of the details,,,but saving the best for last....the main bubble and its reflections.   Its always a process to make the main focus of the painting to POP.  If it does not...the work seems dull.

First Steps

Just starting this "Tide Pool Bubble" showing beginning steps...working on texture and composition...then next will be the  glazing in color..then opaques then more glazing.  This detailed process is where it starts to get fun for me...
